Processing time refers to the time required to process and complete various categories of applications and to make results available.
SAQA is committed to making results available within 15 (fifteen) working days. This can, however, be affected by various factors beyond the control of SAQA, which may cause processing time in respect of all the above categories to be extended. You will normally be informed in the event of a delay on our side.
SAQA does not accept responsibility for delays caused by non-compliant applications.
If information has to be requested from overseas authorities such as verification of awards, the finalisation of the evaluation depends on a reply from the source, as well as on the quality of the reply. SAQA cannot manage a delay in this regard.
Processing time does not include the time during which an application is on its way to SAQA, or results are on their way back to the applicant. Time is calculated from the date of receipt of a complete application up to and including the release of results.
